Mike Corrin is an Executive Vice President and Director of the Nashville (Brentwood), Tennessee office. He brings varied and valuable experience to the design team, and is responsible for the day-to-day development of projects from preliminary design through project completion. His contributions include engineering design, direction of junior engineers, coordination with other disciplines, project scheduling, and the resolution of construction-related issues. His projects have been in the categories of healthcare, hospitality, parking, office, retail, education and industrial. He has been with Stanley D. Lindsey and Associates, Ltd. since 1982.
Mike received his Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering from North Carolina State University and Master of Engineering in Civil Engineering from Cornell University. He is a LEED Accredited Professional and registered Professional Engineer in Alabama, Florida, Georgia, Kentucky, Louisiana, Missouri, New York, Tennessee, and Virginia.
Mike is a member of the ASCE (Middle Tennessee Scholarship Committee), AISC, ACI, National Society of Professional Engineers, Tennessee Society of Professional Engineers, US Green Building Council – Tennessee, Tennessee Structural Engineers Association, and NCEES. He recently participated as a review panel member for NEHRP Consultants Joint Venture (ATC-89) pertaining to the cost-benefit analysis for earthquake resistant construction.
Stanley D. Lindsey and Associates, Ltd. achieved the first LEED for Commercial Interiors Certification in the State of Tennessee, and awarded the Tennessee Green Award by the Tennessee Chapter of the International Interior Design Association. Mike had an integral role and was extremely influential in the implementation of this highly efficient floor plan which allowed for the re-use of 100% of existing workstation furniture, seating, casework, doors, and lighting fixtures from the previous office location.
Mike has served as a mentor in the ACE mentoring program for local high school students, is an active leader in the Boy Scouts of America, his church, and former President of the Brentwood High School band boosters.
