Will Jacobs is a Principal in the Atlanta, Georgia office. His responsibilities include project management, design, and analysis of all types of building structures. Will has experience with mid-rise to high-rise building projects in concrete and composite steel. His projects have been in the categories of healthcare, laboratories, office, mixed use, parking, hospitality, and religious. He has gained particular experience in erection engineering, stability and cable analysis. He has been with Stanley D. Lindsey & Associates, Ltd. since 2003.
Will received his Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering from Clemson University and Master of Science in Structural Engineering from Virginia Polytechnic Institute and State University (Virginia Tech). He is registered as a Structural Engineer and/or Professional Engineer in Georgia, Arizona, Florida, Illinois, North Carolina, South Carolina, and Texas.
Will serves as the Vice Chair of AISC TC5 on Composite Construction, and is a member of the AISC Committee on Manuals, AISC TC9 Seismic Design, ASCE 37 Loads on Structures During Construction, ASCE National Technical Planning Committee, ASCE Composite Design Committee, ASCE Methods of Design Committee, and NCEES.
