Designed to meet FEMA P-361 and NFPA requirements, this state-of-the-art, two-story facility houses Williamson County Emergency Operations Center (EOC) and 911 Dispatch Center (ECC). The EOC, or “the pit” or “war room” is equipped with a 10×30 computer screen that covers the entire back wall of the center and has 105 computer stations.  The ECC contains four training/briefing rooms used by emergency personnel, a lockdown room, server spaces, administrative offices, workout room and cafeteria. With six layers of reinforced glass and walls, the building can sustain an F-5 tornado, 250-mph winds and 15-pound missile impacts at 100-mph.
