Ben Nelson is a Principal in our Nashville office, focusing on engineering design and project coordination. With experience in single-story to mid-rise buildings constructed from steel, concrete, masonry, and wood, Ben's projects span new sites, additions, and renovations in the healthcare, office, education, industrial, and government sectors. He has been with SDL since 2005. Ben holds a B.Eng. and an M.Eng. from Vanderbilt University and is a LEED Accredited Professional BD+C. He is a member of ASCE, AISC, and USGBC, and serves as a Senior Design Mentor at Vanderbilt University.
