The new 203,000 square foot state-of-the art teaching and research facility  houses Appalachian State’s Beaver College of Health Sciences. The five-story steel structure building serves 14 of the 16 health science programs offered at the university and includes simulation laboratories, assessment rooms, treatment rooms, classrooms, laboratories and many other shared spaces.  The building is located on a 9.2 acre parcel of land adjacent to the Watauga Medical.
